About the Role
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation to completion.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, Agile methodologies, PMI standards, and budget management.
This role involves working closely with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Apply PMI project management principles to define project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Oversee budget management, ensuring project costs remain within approved allocations.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business needs.
- Implement and promote Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) for project execution.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and best practices.
- Utilize project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Trello.
- Conduct post-project reviews to assess success metrics and lessons learned.
Requirements:
- Experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with project management standards and best practices.
- Proven track record of budget planning and financial tracking in IT projects.
- Hands-on experience managing technical teams and software projects.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Trello).
- English Level: B1 high or above - Mandatory.
Desirable Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA).
- ITIL Foundation Certification for IT service management.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based project management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline management.
