PROJECT MANAGEMENT - CONSTRUCTION

H&C Construction LLC, a U.S.-based residential remodeling company, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Construction to lead and coordinate construction projects locally in Peru while maintaining direct communication with our management team in the U.S. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and advanced communication skills to ensure successful project execution aligned with both local and international standards.
The ideal candidate will have an academic background in Architecture or Civil Engineering, advanced proficiency in English, and the ability to manage resources, risks, and teams effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight and Execution
- Lead all phases of residential and commercial construction projects from initiation to closeout.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Supervise daily on-site operations in Lima and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor costs, track expenses, and ensure overall profitability of assigned projects.
- Guarantee compliance with Peruvian construction regulations, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and deviations proactively.
Communication and Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Peru operations and U.S. management.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and financial updates for management in the U.S.
- Collaborate closely with architects, vendors, and field teams to maintain quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management.
- Advanced proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and permitting processes in Peru.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar (preferred).

Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with international construction project coordination.
- Prior work in residential remodeling or similar projects.
- Familiarity with subcontractor networks and permitting authorities in Lima.
