We are currently looking for a Logistics Manager to join us.

Main purpose
Lead the Transportation and Warehouse operations in the assigned countries / sites in a safe, reliable, effective, and efficient way to address product customer needs related to Logistics as well as coordinate implementation of continuous improvement projects and initiatives aiming to improve safety, simplify execution, improve service, and reduce costs.
Main Responsibilities
- Actively endorse and support programs and initiatives related to safety and compliance to promote cultural change.
Work closely with the HSE and compliance teams for this purpose.
- Coordinate together with the HSE team the investigation and action planning process in case of Safety incidents and/or accidents.
- Keep up to date and assure the team is aware of occupational health, safety, environment, quality, and social responsibility policies.
- Coordinate and manage performance in the logistics operation including Product receipt, storage, counting, order consolidation / planning, transportation tendering, product loading and track & trace.
- Assure enough warehouse and transportation capacity is available to address sales volume as agreed in IBP cycle (warehouse space and transportation).
- Operate the S&D productivity program in the sites assigned, challenging logistics site leaders to find better ways to perform day-to-day operation but also bringing and implementing best practices.
- Lead the logistics operation continuous improvement.
- Revise official documentation (Logistics Procedures, Manuals, Standards).
Support audits and certification process in logistics assigned sites.
- Manage the annual budget for logistics operations and transport in close collaboration with Finance.
- Partner with procurement in sourcing warehouse and transportation services (freight, 3PLs, loading service, equipment rental)
- Manage and control logistics costs and performance, realized based on frequent measurement and systematic review of these costs and performance with logistics service providers.
- Ensure that the normative, rules and regulations are complied with by all employees.
- Perform people management, hiring, promotions, and dismissals of employees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering (ideally Industrial or Mechanical)
- Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain/Warehouse / Transportation activities in the (
Mining, Industrials, Food, Retail or Construction)
industry.
- Excellent english skills.
- Proven experience in the implementation and operational use of WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Knowledge of warehouse technology and warehouse management including legal and safety requirements.
- Mastery on problem-solving, networking, communication, and leadership skills.
- Detail oriented, possessing mastery on organizational skills with analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage complexity and deal with stressful situations.
- Sense of responsibility and urgency and ability to multi-task and prioritize activities.
- Knowledge of processes and IT Systems associated with logistics function.
- Proven experience in managing labor relations with unions (sindicatos), including negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, dispute resolution and compliance with applicable labor regulations.
