General Job Description
Lead Generators play a key support role in the sales process by filtering, nurturing, and tracking leads until they are ready to be transferred to a Loan Partner.
Their main focus is to ensure that every opportunity passed to the Loan Partner is high-quality, complete, and conversion-ready.
They combine excellent communication with disciplined pipeline management, while keeping the CRM consistently updated to provide visibility and alignment for the entire team (Loan Officers, Loan Specialists, Loan Partners, and Marketing).
Acting with both urgency and attention to detail, Lead Generators help shorten the client conversion timeline, strengthen client retention, and support seamless coordination across departments.
Role Responsibilities
- Filter and nurture leads by verifying documentation, clarifying client readiness, and guiding them until they meet the minimum requirements to be pre-qualified by a Loan Partner.
- Re-engage clients registered before as not yet ready due to assets, income, or credit score, monitoring them to ensure timely contact when conditions change.
- Contribute to production goals by accelerating active files: tracking pending documents, reminding clients, and helping shorten the conversion timeline while maintaining engagement with pre-qualified clients searching for a property to prevent attrition to other lenders.
- Identify new opportunities within internal databases, realtor-provided lists, and leads generated through ads.
- Coordinate participation in company events by inviting clients and realtors, managing registration, and sending reminders.
- Stay current through continuous learning and keep updated on program details through ongoing training to better guide clients.
- Document interactions and keep the CRM fully updated in real time, ensuring transparency and easy handoff between team members.
Experience
- 1–2 years in sales, lead generation, call center, customer service, banking, or real estate roles.
- Experience working in target-driven environments with productivity and conversion KPIs.
- Previous experience working with CRM systems or client databases.
- Experience collaborating across teams and supporting both clients and business partners.
- Exposure to mortgage, financial services, or real estate industries preferred, but not required.
