About the Role:
We are seeking an
IT Application Project Manager
with experience in the
agriculture sector
to lead technology-driven initiatives that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
This role will focus on delivering impactful IT application projects that directly support clients in the agriculture industry.
You will be responsible for ensuring alignment between business needs and IT solutions while working with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT application projects in the agriculture sector, from initiation to delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with technical experts, business users, and third-party vendors.
- Drive project governance by preparing reports, tracking milestones, and managing risks.
- Ensure timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality standards.
- Support user adoption, training, and post-implementation reviews.
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple regions, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Deliver IT-enabled transformation projects focused exclusively on agricultural operations, farm management, and agritech solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of proven experience in IT application project management.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, business applications, or enterprise platforms used in agriculture.
- Proven experience managing complex multi-entity IT programs in the agriculture sector.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination.
- Prior experience delivering IT-enabled transformation projects specifically for agriculture operations.
- Solid understanding of farm operations, crop/livestock management, ERP integration, and master data structures in agriculture.
- Experience working in cross-cultural, multi-region transformation programs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Spanish are required.
