As an Interpreting Project Manager (PM), you play a vital role in the successful delivery of interpreting services to our clients.
You will manage interpreting assignments from beginning to end, ensuring every project is efficiently scheduled, staffed with the right interpreter, and delivered with exceptional quality.
This is a dynamic and highly collaborative role requiring organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, Full-Time, PST Time Zone.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interpreting assignments by scheduling qualified interpreters based on client needs, language pairs, and specialization.
- Assign interpreters using our scheduling system and ensure all job details are communicated clearly.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring all assignments are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with account managers and clients to clarify project requirements and expectations.
- Maintain high service quality by reviewing interpreter performance and collecting client feedback.
- Negotiate interpreter fees and manage assignments within budget.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams and clients to address changes, risks, or issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all projects, including contracts, communications, and invoices.
Requisitos
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or scheduling (language services industry strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Experience working remotely and independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Tools & Software
- Interpreter Intelligence (or similar scheduling software)
- Microsoft Office Suite
