Role Purpose
The HR Manager will lead and oversee the Human Resources strategy and operations in Peru for a global pharmaceutical company.
This role is responsible for driving talent acquisition, development, retention, employee engagement, and compliance with local labor laws, while ensuring alignment with the company's global HR strategy and culture.
The HR Manager will serve as a trusted business partner to the local leadership team and regional HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
: Partner with senior leadership in Peru to align HR initiatives with business goals, supporting organizational growth and transformation.
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
: Manage recruitment processes for key roles, ensuring attraction of top talent and strengthening the company's employer brand in the local market.
- Talent Development & Succession Planning
: Design and implement learning, leadership development, and succession plans to build organizational capability.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
: Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment aligned with corporate values.
- Compensation & Benefits
: Oversee compensation structures, salary reviews, and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with both global guidelines and local practices.
- Performance Management
: Drive the performance management cycle, ensuring managers are equipped to provide feedback and develop their teams.
- Compliance & Labor Relations
: Ensure adherence to Peruvian labor laws, handle labor relations, and act as the main point of contact with local authorities.
- Regional/Global HR Projects
: Collaborate with regional HR and global COEs on projects related to organizational development, DE&I, digital HR, and people analytics.
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; postgraduate studies or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience
, with at least
3 years in a managerial or HR leadership role
.
- Proven experience in multinational environments, ideally in the
pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industries
.
- Solid understanding of Peruvian labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience managing HR across all core areas: talent acquisition, C&B, employee engagement, and development.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Strong stakeholder management, influence, and change management skills.
