The Head of Platform Innovation plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the future of Lendistry’s technology platform strategy.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this role sits at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business strategy.
You will lead cross-functional efforts to develop and scale platform solutions that support our lending infrastructure, drive efficiencies, and enable new products.
Your day might include facilitating an ideation session with product and engineering teams, evaluating new technologies or platform capabilities, or aligning with executive stakeholders on innovation initiatives that directly impact Lendistry’s long-term goals.
You’ll be hands-on with prioritizing platform roadmap features, driving internal adoption of innovation frameworks, and evaluating partnerships to extend our platform ecosystem.
This is a strategic and highly collaborative role that supports the development of a culture of experimentation, calculated risk-taking, and long-term scalability.
The Head of Platform Innovation is both visionary and execution-oriented, thrives in ambiguity, and understands how to balance platform stability with innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and drive Lendistry’s platform innovation roadmap, aligning with company strategy and business goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and pilot new technologies or services that enhance our platform and user experience.
- Establish platform innovation best practices, frameworks, and KPIs to ensure alignment across departments.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement or expansion within our technology platform.
- Lead platform ideation and incubation efforts, from early-stage discovery through to MVP and scaling.
- Ensure innovation efforts remain grounded in business needs, operational feasibility, and customer value.
- Manage a cross-functional team of innovators, developers, and analysts to drive key projects.
- Monitor and manage innovation budgets and allocate resources effectively across initiatives.
- Work closely with the CTO to align technology direction, systems, and infrastructure with platform innovation priorities.
- Support vendor and strategic alliance management to accelerate time-to-market or expand platform capabilities.
- Track and analyze the success of innovation programs and report results to executive leadership.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging platform technologies.
- Lead initiatives to develop practical applications of AI and Machine learning within our Lending products
- Perform other duties assigned to support the efficient, effective operation of the department, and that helps to make Lendistry the best place to work!
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in platform innovation, product strategy, or technology leadership within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading platform and technology innovation efforts from concept through execution.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms, APIs, system integrations, and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) models.
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, and business units.
- Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, innovation frameworks (e.g., design thinking, lean startup), and platform lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess technical feasibility and ROI.
- Comfortable influencing senior leadership and collaborating across functions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo.
- Experience managing external partnerships and technology vendors.
- Passion for innovation and a strong belief in technology’s power to drive business transformations.

Compensation Range
The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$280,000-$300,000 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence.

Physical Requirements
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.
