Role Overview
We are seeking a
Global Trade Architecture Consultant
to support research and advisory engagements focused on strategic trade corridors, infrastructure modernization, and integrated trade systems.
The role blends analytical depth with policy insight, helping shape national and regional strategies for more connected, competitive, and future-ready logistics ecosystems.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in trade policy, infrastructure strategy, or logistics reform—particularly those who can work across institutional mandates and translate complex data into actionable frameworks for public and multilateral clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and assess the architecture of international trade routes, special economic zones, and multimodal logistics systems
- Contribute to strategy papers and technical notes on trade corridor development, trade facilitation, and regional integration
- Analyze the alignment of national port strategies with global supply chain dynamics and investment flows
- Evaluate the policy implications of free trade agreements, customs modernization programs, and cross-border digital platforms
- Support stakeholder engagement processes, including roundtables, briefings, and technical validation exercises
- Draft structured insights and forward-looking recommendations for development finance institutions, ministries, and trade authorities
- Stay current on geopolitical shifts, infrastructure trends, and global benchmarks impacting trade connectivity
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in International Trade, Infrastructure Policy, Logistics, or Development Studies
- 4–7 years of experience in trade strategy, cross-border infrastructure consulting, or policy-oriented advisory
- Familiarity with Latin American logistics corridors, port governance models, or trade facilitation frameworks is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-impact written outputs for institutional and government audiences
- Strong command of trade and infrastructure datasets, economic indicators, and benchmarking tools
- Fluency in English required; Spanish fluency is strongly preferred
