The Commercial Manage r is responsible for translating and communicate strategies into actionable to drive the commercial performance of our Finance (PLA's) and Insurance programs.
This role ensures effective monitoring of results and consistently seeks improvements and innovations to achieve business objectives.
Day-to-day commercial interactions of this role include the Dealership network, OEM and Partners.
The manager is also responsible for guiding and overseeing the Wholesale support to the OEM through their team.
- Represent GMF with OEMs and dealers, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
- Build strong relationships and maintain effective communication with key partners to enhance F&I programs performance.
- Execute commercial strategies to maximize growth and profitability with F&I programs.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to anticipate trends and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Monitor business performance through KPI's and dashboards, ensuring timely corrective actions when needed.
- Address OEM requirements related to Wholesale volume, Retail marketing campaigns, and overall performance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, new product features, and reporting initiatives that drive sustainable results.
Lead, coach and motivate commercial team to achieve business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field (required).
- Master's degree or MBA (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial management, business development or financial services.
- Fluent English Skills are required (will be evaluated during interviews) - Portuguese is desirable.
- Availability for travelling is required 30% - 35%.
- Solid experience managing and developing teams, including commercial and administrative/reporting teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using KPI's and dashboards to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Deep understanding of automotive financial services, including finance and insurance products.
