The ideal candidate will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis across various projects to optimize company growth and business.
You will manipulate datasets, create integrated certification models, and summarize findings in a succinct manner for top management's usage and decision making.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage Organic*, ROC, FFL, Kosher, GFSI*, and other certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance with certification bodies.
- Conduct internal audits of suppliers and co-packers to verify certification requirements.
- Maintain and update certification documentation, specifications, and verification records, ensuring traceability and accessibility.
- Train internal teams and suppliers on certification standards, processes, and updates from certification bodies.
- Monitor products and processes to ensure compliance with certification requirements and FDA regulations*.
- Approve and monitor labels and packaging.
- Coordinate and act as a liaison with suppliers to ensure they meet certification standards and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline certification compliance and enhance compliance reporting.
- Ensure traceability and mass balance throughout the supply chain is properly reflected in documentation and labels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Industries, Biology, Forestry, Agronomy or related discipline 2 - 3 years of experience working with Certifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills*
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge in ERP system.
- Intermediate level of English*
