Role Overview

The
Acquisition Lead
for Peru and Costa Rica is responsible for driving on-ground talent acquisition efforts and ensuring a steady, high-quality supply pipeline that meets market demand.

This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution — balancing data-driven decision-making with local market understanding.

The lead will oversee
end-to-end acquisition operations
: screening and qualifying inbound talent, managing cohorts and pipelines, and ensuring that only top-quality candidates reach customers.

They will collaborate closely with the
Product team
to refine the talent journey, continuously improving conversion and engagement across the application lifecycle.

In addition to leading local teams, the Acquisition Lead will
build and manage institutional partnerships
, create visibility into on-ground market dynamics, and design scalable systems that strengthen supply-side predictability.

The role also owns and improves
early-life churn
within their markets, using data and insights to shape supply strategies and retention initiatives.

Ultimately, this role serves as the
bridge between market realities and global marketplace strategy
, ensuring that Edge's growth in Latin America is built on a strong, sustainable, and quality-driven talent foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on-ground acquisition initiatives to build a sustainable supply pipeline
  • Screening the inbound talent leads to ensure the best quality talents are presented to the customers
  • Talent Cohort & Talent Pipeline Management
  • Collaborating with the product team on refining the talent journey
  • Owning and delivering on monthly/quarterly acquisition targets
  • Building the infrastructure to have visibility of the on-ground market dynamics
  • Partnering up with the local institutions to bring in institutional supply
  • Owning the respective market's early life churn
  • Gathering on-ground market insights and shaping the supply plans accordingly

Experience & Qualification

  • Experience in tech startups/marketplaces is a plus
  • Experience in building supply funnels for multiple categories/supply types
  • Understanding of recruitment platforms and sourcing tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on developing relationships with candidates, partners, and team members.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets is required
