The Accounting Analyst Peru reports directly to the Accounting Leader who reports functionally to the Country Controller.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare the reconciliation accounts, analyze differences and add the support documentation.
- Prepare the month-end closing activities to transmit accurate financials in accordance with the Regional and Corporate deadlines.
- Research and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts in accordance with company policies.
- Give support in some Cost activities.
- Give support to all the areas of the company, giving the information required in time.
- Prepare information and analysis requested by internal and external auditors.
- Prepared other information and analysis for special projects (e.g., Foxtrot).
- Build organizational capability for innovation through training and other avenues.
- Identify solutions to market-back challenges by leveraging Open Innovation, emerging technologies, partnerships, networks, suppliers, ideation, etc.
- Continuously promote changes and innovative improvements on process, systems and business concepts in order to deliver profitable and sustainable growth opportunities.
Education
Required: An undergraduate degree with a concentration in a business related field (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.).
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Finance.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using SAP, Power BI, Tableu preferred.
- Experience working with multi-national corporations
- Strong knowledge of both local and US GAAP accounting rules
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data and issues and proactively develop solutions.
- Intermediate in English (oral and written).
Knowledge and Abilities
- Thorough understanding of local GAAP/IFRS and U.S. GAAP, accounting for complex transactions and internal controls in compliance with SOX.
- Strong knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (i.e. ERP system (SAP preferred), MS Office products,) as applicable to the country.
- Consulting skills, including the ability to draw on the ideas of key team members and convert them into meaningful plans.
- Interpersonal skills that establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly.
- Creates team atmosphere while achieving key objectives.

- Demonstrates understanding of how key accounting decisions impact the business units and forecasted operating results/cash flows.
